Cylindrical primary lithium cells LO/G are based on the chemical composition of lithium sulfur dioxide (Li-SO2) and are equipped with spiral electrodes with a very large surface area, providing high power and maximum current pulse capacity. They are designed for applications using continuous currents in the 0.1–5A range with superimposed pulses up to 60A.

VRNM batteries are exceptionally reliable nickel—plated batteries with pocket plates that require minimal maintenance and eliminate the risk of sudden shutdown over a long battery life. They operate with full reliability and high performance in extreme temperatures from -20°C to +40°C and from -50°C to +70°C for a short time. VRNM nickel batteries are ideal for mixed-load applications such as switching substations where the system must be completely reliable and require a minimum number of maintenance visits.
